Sometimes in that timeless space
Between lines etched in parchment
You return to me.
In the midst of moulded memories,
A symphony of verse prevails;
Dulcet tones
My heart pulsing in harmony,
Hushed by the depth of what was,
Lost in the revelation of what is,
This broken page beckons.
A remnant of days cast
In a multitude of moments.
I wait,
Yearning for that first caress,
Lusting for that last lingering tremble,
In every breath
Of every dream that follows.
Subsumed;
In this tireless echo of eternity,
I pause
On tear-stained pages,
A diary of treasures past,
Fragile reminders of
When I once was loved.
Here,
In this lifetime laced in scribe,
A passion penned in prose,
Upon a heart engraved;
I remain,
Imprisoned,
Until you come again,
Somewhere in that timeless space.
